After examining the available betting markets offered at BetMGM MI, we found that the only markets that BetMGM don’t have are table tennis, netball, and e-sports. Overall, BetMGM is above average in terms of available betting markets.
BetMGM MI odds comparison
Odds comparison is an underrated part of the sportsbook review process: and BetMGM actually comes up a bit short in this aspect. BetMGM MI commonly posts less favorable odds than its competitors.
For example: DraftKings and FanDuel have the Sacramento Kings at +100 and +104, respectively, against the Golden State Warriors in game one of their 2023 NBA Playoffs first-round matchup. Meanwhile, BetMGM has the Kings at -105 for the same game. Unfortunately, BetMGM definitely loses in this regard. After comparing odds for betting on the NBA Playoffs at different books, BetMGM came up short more often than not.

As far as user experience is concerned, you’ll have a tough time finding a better interface than that of BetMGM. We really enjoyed navigating the desktop version, mobile site, and the mobile app when crafting our 2023 BetMGM Michigan review. We have been using the sportsbook for several years at this point, and have never encountered glaring issues pertaining to the user experience.
The sportsbook’s homepage on both the desktop format and the mobile app feels near-perfect, with one of the cleanest designs in the business. The BetMGM mobile app is like having an entire online sportsbook in your pocket with the ability to place wagers on the go within minutes. We found the app’s layout and speed to be among the best in the industry.

As far as speed is concerned, we found that the BetMGM mobile app is slightly slower than that of FanDuel and DraftKings, but it’s truly marginal. Overall, we determined that the mobile experience at BetMGM MI was one of the best that we’ve seen in the state.
BetMGM desktop version
The BetMGM desktop version is very similar to the mobile app, nearly identical actually. We don’t have any complaints regarding the layout and navigability of the site. Some key differences include the list of top sports being on the left-hand side, your bet slip/bets being on the right, and promotions being located in a rather small button near the top of the page.
Honestly, we view the homepage at BetMGM to be the pinnacle of an online sportsbook’s layout. Our 2023 BetMGM Michigan review found that the layout and even the color scheme are unmatched by competitors.
