Wagering on boxing has been prevalent in the United States for decades—and it has regained some popularity recently. We’re detailing and ranking the best boxing betting sites in 2023.
All of our best boxing betting sites offer a welcome bonus of some kind. Check out the lineup of new user promos below:
Sportsbook | New User Promo | Boxing Features |

Following our comprehensive review, we’ve come to the decision that DraftKings Sportsbook is the best boxing betting site in the United States as of 2023. Here’s why:
Nearly every prominent sportsbook offers promotions specifically geared towards sports like football, basketball, and baseball. However, very few sportsbooks offer bonuses that revolve around boxing—but DraftKings is one of those few.
DraftKings Michigan Sportsbook is offering new customers the opportunity to win $150 in Bonus Bets by placing a $5 pre-fight moneyline wager on the Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz mega-fight on August 5, 2023. You’ll see DraftKings offer similar promotions for other marquee boxing fights as well.
You’ll be hard pressed to find a sportsbook that offers more bet types on more boxing fights than DraftKings. Not only does DraftKings provide a plethora of both, but they post their wide range of boxing bets earlier than any other sportsbook.
For example, within a week of an event, DraftKings has all of the event’s fights and bet types posted. However, most other sportsbooks in Michigan, including BetMGM and Caesars, still only have moneyline odds posted.
At the end of the day, few factors are as important as betting odds. DraftKings is once again impressive in this category, consistently boasting more favorable odds than almost all of its competitors.

While we find DraftKings to be the top destination for boxing betting in the state, that doesn’t mean it’s the only viable option. Actually, we were fond of a handful of other sportsbooks for reasons that you can read below:
FanDuel is our second favorite boxing betting option because it stacks up against DraftKings in just about every facet. Odds are posted early and they’re competitive, and they provide a strong selection of boxing bet types that mirrors DraftKings.
One thing that holds FanDuel MI back from the top spot is its lack of boxing-specific promos. That’s not to say they’re nonexistent, but they’re certainly uncommon. Still, FanDuel is a leader in the sports betting industry in large part due to its incredible overall user experience.
The Caesars Sportsbook gets its name from the renowned Caesars Palace in Las Vegas—the home of many boxing legends like Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, and “Sugar” Ray Leonard, and many others. The sportsbook is a fine option for boxing betting, but the sport doesn’t get nearly the same attention as other markets.
We expect sportsbooks not to put as much time and effort into making the boxing betting experience as extensive as the NFL. However, DraftKings and FanDuel both do a great job of providing creativity for betting on fights. Unfortunately, the experience doesn’t feel the same with Caesars—still a good choice—but not the best.
BetMGM is the official betting partner of DAZN, which grants them the ability to live stream many of the biggest and baddest fights. That is a big leg up for BetMGM in terms of boxing betting, but we were very unimpressed with the odds that they offer. We found that BetMGM almost always had less favorable odds than the other heavyweights in the industry.
At the end of the day, we do enjoy placing sports bets with BetMGM Michigan Sportsbook. However, they’re less-than-ideal odds hold them back in a major way.
Likely the most underrated sportsbook on the market, BetRivers Michigan Sportsbook is a worthy option for betting on boxing. BetRivers provides most, if not all of the same key features as the top names in the industry—and their boxing section is splendid.
Upcoming fights are posted early and not just the moneyline, but bet types like Method of Victory and Round Betting as well. This is a bit surprising, but BetRivers will post over 50 different bet types for marquee boxing fights like Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia.
Of all the sign-up bonuses currently being offered by sportsbooks, we believe that the FanDuel welcome offer is the cream of the crop. New users will benefit from receiving $150 in Bonus Bets after placing their first $5 real money wager.
All you need to do to qualify is deposit at least $10 into your FanDuel account, and place your first cash wager of $5. You’ll then get $150 in Bonus Bets within 72 hours of placing your bet. We also like how you don’t need to use your Bonus Bets in one lump sum, which is an important detail of this sign-up bonus.
There are numerous different factors that we take into consideration when determining the best boxing betting site to use in 2023. Aspects like bet type and variety, odds comparison, and boxing-specific promos and boosts all come into play in our ranking.
The sport of boxing has been a staple in the betting industry long before online sports gambling was legalized. Now that you’re able to place your bets online, it’s crucial for you to use the best site, and that’s our expertise. We’ve dug deep into every sportsbook that offers betting on boxing to help you make the most informed choices.
First and foremost, take a look at the different sign-up bonuses that each sportsbook offers. After that, we recommend comparing odds at some of the sites you have in mind in order to decide where you’re going to get the best bang for your buck.
Next, it’s good to check out the sport-specific promotions of each site because if a site is only offering MLB and NHL-centric promos, and you don’t plan on ever betting on those leagues, then they’re of no use to you.
After reviewing the previously mentioned factors in each legal sportsbook, we’ve done most of the work for you in deciding which site is best to use for boxing betting.
Our favorite app to use for boxing betting is actually the BetMGM mobile app. Not only does it have the highest cumulative rating between Android and iOS users, but it also has the capability to live stream boxing events like we discussed earlier.
While the boxing live stream feature at BetMGM wasn’t enough to overcome DraftKings as the overall best sportsbook for boxing betting, it is enough to solidify its status as having the top mobile app.
EVENT | DATE |
---|---|
Claressa Shields vs. Hanna Gabriels | June 3, 2023 |
Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz | August 5, 2023 |
Terence Crawford vs. Errol Spence Jr. | November 18, 2023 |
DraftKings edges out BetMGM as the best place to bet on the upcoming fight between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz, which is scheduled to take place on August 5, 2023. It’s simply due to the wide range of bet types and the competitive odds they offer. Also, expect DraftKings to have promotions specifically catered to this match as it gets closer.
All of the aforementioned sportsbooks allow for you to place live bets on boxing fights as the action is occurring inside the ring. Live betting is a must-have feature for online betting sites in 2023 in case you get the itch to place a wager in the midst of the fight.
We’re going to give BetMGM the crown for the best place to live bet on boxing fights. Its partnership with DAZN, along with its smooth mobile app makes for an enviable live betting experience in the eyes of its competitors.
Betting on boxing is very different from betting on team sports like baseball, basketball, football, soccer, etc. There are different types of bets that you should be aware of when entering the world of boxing betting.
There isn’t just a winner and a loser according to score. In boxing, there is usually a winner and loser, but there’s more to it than that.
The difference between a knockout (KO) and a technical knockout (TKO) is that a TKO is declared when a fighter is conscious but unable to continue, while a KO occurs when a fighter is unconscious and cannot continue to fight because of it. A TKO can also be ruled due to an injury.
Additionally, scoring in boxing might look foreign to you if you haven’t seen it before. Judges score each round individually on a 10-point scale. Most rounds are scored 10-9, with the winning fighter receiving 10 points and the loser 9.
You can bet on boxing if you’re within a state where online sports wagering is legal. You must also be at least 21 years of age. Then just head to the boxing section on your favorite sportsbook and begin placing bets.
There are a number of different places to bet on boxing. Our favorites include DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, and BetRivers.
Our review of the best boxing betting sites concluded that DraftKings Sportsbook is the go-to place in 2023. Other close contenders include FanDuel, Caesars, and BetMGM.
